They experience hardship and danger, learn to adapt, and even thrive in their new environment. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Joe Cajero Jr. is an award winning artist and sculptor raised in Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico. Descending from a family of Pueblo artists, he is influenced by the stories and creative traditions shared by his family. His work, including original clay sculptures, limited-edition bronze works, and monumental commissions, continues to reflect a deep connection to his Pueblo heritage. Now Joe turns his focus to story telling with Towa’s Journey, Finding Our Path, a story that both children and adults can enjoy.
